Visit from Briony Williams for BBC Morning Live

Today we enjoyed a visit by Briony Williams, who is a chef on BBC Morning Live. In the spirit of Great British Pea Week, Briony wanted to understand how the peas were grown.

She brought pea cupcakes and a pea cake with her, which sounds like an acquired taste but was actually surprisingly good! Briony was up for anything and clambered onto the harvester to have a go at harvesting some peas, before we went to the factory to see the freezing process in action.

Briony was a lovely guest and we were happy to show her around, as we feel we have a story to tell and to spread the story with consumers about what goes into putting food on their plate. We enjoy what we do and it’s a great opportunity to make other people aware of that.
