The rate of growth this week has been remarkable. Plenty of moisture, sunshine and above average temperatures. Doesn't get any better than that. The fantastic spell of weather also allowed us to get the final few acres of Terrain and Naches in before the forecasted thunderstorms of the Bank Holiday weekend. It is Carrington Rally after all so some rain is to be expected!Crops are rapidly coming into flower and the first of the Anubis has an abundance of pods on. Whilst the Boston has some potential triple pods coming. Let's hope they all hang on. It's now vital to keep the plant healthy up to harvest so close monitoring for aphid and moth is taking place. They will only be sprayed as and when required. They will also get an application of nutrition as well. Time in the yard is spent wisely servicing everything so it is all ready for when we start harvesting on June .............
